Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. Board lists, dimensions and prices you enter are saved to your browser's local storage so your tally survives a page reload — they are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
We use Ahrefs Analytics, a privacy-respecting, cookieless page-analytics service, to count aggregate page views and referrers and see which calculators are useful. It sets no cookies and builds no personal profiles; we see totals, not you. No cross-site tracking, no sale of data.
Pages may show ads (e.g., Google AdSense) and affiliate links to woodworking retailers; both may set their own cookies subject to their policies, and affiliate links are disclosed on the pages that carry them. Ads never change a calculator's output.
We don't require accounts, don't collect names or emails, don't run cross-site trackers, don't fingerprint devices, and don't sell or share any data with data brokers. There is no newsletter popup lurking behind a timer. If a future feature ever needs to store something beyond your own browser, this policy will say so in plain words before it ships.
Clearing your browser's site data for calculateboardfeet.com removes every saved tally instantly — that storage lives with you, not us. Ad personalization, where ads appear, can be controlled through your Google ad settings; the calculators work identically with ads blocked. Residents of jurisdictions with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA and kin) retain all rights those laws grant — though in practice there is very little here to exercise them against, since we hold no personal data to access, correct or delete.
